My focus when working with postdocs is career development and providing feedback on scientific writing, presentations, and research. Whether your next step is as a researcher, lecturer, or outside academia, I'm committed to supporting your career development. I'm also interested in collaborating on fellowship proposals. If you'd like to work with me, please reach out.
I'm excited to mentor PhD students interested in understanding how human activities effect the climate and air quality, and using this knowledge to improve health and progress towards sustainability. You'll learn atmospheric modeling on high-performance computing systems, satellite remote sensing applications, and quantifying health and equity impacts of pollution and climate change. My priority is mentoring your scientific writing, presenting, and research skills while tailoring your PhD towards your career goals. If interested, please reach out. Further details about postgraduate research can be found here.
Interested in exploring how climate change, air pollution, health, policy, and equity interact? Please email me. I'll provide guidance on scientific research and writing, support you in learning high-performance computing, data analysis and visualization, and developing scientific communication skills. Depending on your interests, you could work on climate science, earth system modeling, remote sensing, data science, machine learning, or environmental justice research.
Fundamentally, I believe that scientific research benefits from being inclusive of diverse perspectives. Progress towards a more sustainable and equitable future can only be made through continued awareness of inequality and inequity. I want you to know that you are welcome in CASA and the larger scientific community. I am committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all who would like to join.
